As Douglas said, "Hola!"
Moved from VA to Seattle. Not as much time to ride with a family now. And not as much time to post on here now that I no longer have a government job. Just picked up a Blur LTc and an Evil Sovereign, so I'm hoping this summer will be FILLED with rides all over WA, OR...
Hey man, just saw your reply to my ad for my Bullit. I replied back (on the ad) but figured I should PM you and let you know since the system didn't notify me about your reply. Details are in the reply on the ad. I should have probably put them here. Please let me know how you'd like to proceed...
I haven't been on this site pretty much since I moved out here. Too busy. You still have that IH? I've got my Bullitt just sitting around collecting dust. Don't think I've ridden it since the move. Saw a pic of you on FB this morning grabbing some cope. Nice. Thinking about whether or not to...
Thanks Damien. I will say I'll miss all the people I met while out there for my brief ~8 year stay. A bunch of people who are all welcome to 'crash' if they find their way out here.
So far the only 'off-road' exploring I've done has yielded a small (legal) dirt jump park about a half mile...
Just moved from the Wash DC area to the Seattle area two weeks ago. So far, I haven't found much here, but I see tons of potential. I miss nothing about the East Coast. People here are so much nicer.
:poster_oops: Did you mean affect? Some times the guys with the red pens need them applied as well. And you call yourself a teacher.....
Actually, I'm with you. Keep marking up their papers and teaching them how to dodge dodgeballs. It'll help them later in life. I read somewhere recently...
I hadn't ridden with a computer on my bike in over ten years. I found it took a lot of the enjoyment away from the ride. Taking it off was one of the best things I've done for my riding.
This summer, I put one back on. I needed something with a countdown timer that would sound an alarm and...
Cool. I'm assuming with the length of time it took to complete phase one, there will be many more work parties than these two.
I'll be moving to the area in a few weeks (though after these dates) and would love to come out and help. I'll join BBTC and be in contact once the family has arrived...
Maybe Craigslist and sell it local to eliminate shipping?
eBay and Craigslist are also good places to find out what it's worth by searching for similar items.
Use a calculator. Spoke length is determined based on a number of factors including:
Hub flange diameter
Hub center to flange
Number of spokes
Spoke crossing
Rim hole offset
You can get lucky and guess or just spend 5 minutes to find out the correct lengths.
I usually use the calculator at...
I always liked "Chinpokomon".
I caught a reair the other week of "Bebe's boobs kill the world" or something like that. It's hilarious watching all the boys turn into cavemen for no reason apparent to them.
"A-TA,... A-TA,..."
"Yes Stan, A-TA."
