thanks for replys, i can back the preload off as as i have it preloaded to the maximum amount going by the zocchi manual. I weigh about 195lb last time i checked, i've been running a 500 since i had the bike and only changed because i saw this ti one on ebay.
Off to les arcs in the french alps...
quick question for you guys. I've just got a 450lb spring for my pdc and iam unsure on how to check the sag. When iam not sitting on the bike the spring measures about 156mm when i sit on it i measure it at about 138mm does this sound like the right amount of sag. Or iam going about this all...
Got mine last week but its already gone off for repair. I store my bike upside down and when i was getting it ready for a ride i noticed a load of oil around the ata knob. A call to the importers revealed that the first few batches had this problem and they would fix it by adding some sort of...
i was going to be giving the 888's their first go this weekend but when getting the bike ready i noticed oil around the ata cap, apparently the first few had some dodgy seal that lets oil out when stored upside down, so they have gone off to be repaired:disgust1:
They felt alright having a...
i've had mine for about a year now, i love it. Pedals great even tho i've changed to a rocco rear shock with with no pedal platform. Handles nice in the air, corners like its on rails.
The issues i've had are,
not that much tyre clearance a 2.5 minion will fit but theres not that much room, i...
dont race downhill but do a few uplift days, a bit of everything really.
Not that worried about putting a single crown as i ran manipoo's on my asx for couple of years and apart from them breaking alot due to poor quality they were fine
Just sold the shiver Dc that i have been running on my pdc 8two5 and iam unsure which of the 07 forks i should get.
I've been totally happy with the shiver i'd just like to lighten the front end.
I've narrowed it down to either the coil totem 1.5" or the 888SL, both come in at around the same...
really? i've got a totem on preorder. I had the same problem with manitou breakout+ had to send mine away 3 times in one year, had a whole steerer, crown, stantion each time under warrenty.
Maybe i should go for the 888sl instead
moominater have you tried sending the manipoo off to tf tuned mine felt tons better after he had done a few bits to it.
My pdc has got to be pushing45lbs with a full saint build and shivers, hopefully when i've got some dosh i'll try and get the weight down
I brought a pdc freeride from dan the uk distributer a couple of weeks ago and couldn't be happier with the bike or the service i got from dan, he went went out of his way to helpful :thumb
Thats a bit longer than i thought it was going 2 be, dont know if i'd like it that slack. I'd be better off with the 06 888's now they have a flat crown and run a zero stack headset.
yeah was thinking of the travis as well. Not sure which would be better suited the 180mm or 200mm. Does anyone know the axel-crown lengths on those yet
