My Garmin GPSmap 60CSx is getting physically tired. Thinking about getting a 64s as a replacement. I use it to record bike rides and other ramblings, just turn it on, throw it in my pack, and dump the data on return.
Anybody else still using a dedicated GPS as opposed to their phones?
Has anyone seen anything similar for bikes? I've searched and found lots of talk about it, but no actual devices or services. I think Lojack would be too big to put in the frame, but I haven't seen any good pictures of it.
Looks like a great idea, albeit a pricey idea. GPS trackable dog collar. I'd imagine I could find MANY other uses for it. Affectionally dubbed "ASTRO".
apple and the iPhone are a juggernaut: they've turned their success with the iPod into an equally great one with the iPhone:
- 17 million iPhones and 13 million iPod touches sold...
What's the hottest new gadget?
I have an ooold Garmin ETrex Vista, and man, I need a new one for the stuff I am doing/will be doing in the future.
I am looking for one that is very, very easy to navigate in the field (create waypoints, edit, possibly even paint as I go on the trailhead)...
