Get to sit in a booth at a golf outing today. This will be super fun.

Got a new to us sectional couch from mrs’s rich sister. She’s selling her 3rd home, figured 2 is enough.

Kiddo thought a couch strapped to a truck was the coolest thing ever.

Up early to throw up more drywall mud in the basement, try to even out the mountains my FIL has been making of the seams.

Speaking of whom, the wife asked for an old tablet of his so we could entertain the child on a couple of longer car trips this summer. Instead, a new iPad Pro arrived in the mail. So that's something.

Morning Monkeys.

Weather looks good today, the beach was totally empty this morning and it was glorious. Enjoying my dark coffee and a morning rip before the day gets started. No real agenda today, but will likely check out a converted sailboat because old guys are cool.

I honestly think I will try sailing next year. Ever since the Navy and learning Quartermaster stuff, I've wanted to but it's expensive and I'm cheap. But the wife says we should, so I'm down.

It can be cheap if through a club. When I was at UW the sailing club was something like $50/year? $100/year?

and then you could take out any non-overnight-sized boats for free if you were certified for its class.

Working and cleaning house. 10 days of bachelorhood has caused the house to be somewhat dirty. Now to give it my best shot, in hopes I avoid the finger wagging lecturing about cleaning before the fam gets home.

Body is completely hosed after two days of cutting trail with my singlespeed. Theres one more day of work out there but half is with a mcleod and the other half with my bike. Guess I"m hiking in with both.

Wrapping up our European world tour. Been in Athens for the last 2.5 days, then leave for the airport at 5:30am to head home. Loving the Greek food and view from our hotel rooftop bar. Pic from today and last night. The Acropolis is absolutely amazing to see up close, I highly recommend it if traveling to Europe!

Went to visit Hilarie this morning, wound up staying for over four hours, had some interesting conversations with management about the quality and effectivity of the care they have provided since her coming down with COVID-19 while resident there.

Now working a Focal Banger.

In a van.... down by the river
turn on the AC already sheesh

I'm putting a supplemental fancy-U-shaped 12k BTU window unit in the younger kids' room. because single zone issues + physics.
It's 70F in La Casa de Shtles. Besides - uncomfortably warm kids' rooms build character. :homer:

I was outside putting summer tires on and sweating a lot.

I should probably turn on the sprinklers...

I swear, the end of me in all of this will be quoted as "read the fucking question!". Solid 20% of what I'm missing in practice is because of misreading questions. It's down from before, but still pretty bad.
