Up. Damn cold it is.

Electric heating and tank turned off from 6 to 9.

Might go for a ride once it warms up.

Hey all you cool cats and kittens

pulled in the driveway around 5ish yesterday, 400+ miles and 8+ hours of driving for the weekend actually ended up being a very successful weekend of getting away and Xmas shopping. Will do it again next year for sho!

in other news,

Great night of rest in my own bed tho

I think I am going to buy a pair of those new Honda trail CT125’s,

Hiya fella! 3 degrees this morning, and I'd run outside if I didn't have access to a treadmill, but since I do, I ran 9 miles on it.

I'm finally letting the puppy have the run of the house while I WFH in the basement, rather than keeping her access limited. She's doing fine...sleeping upstairs on the couch at the moment (I've got the dog cam on).

Very cold out, much bad no thank
Tried to do an outdoor ride the other day, my tubeless tire somehow got a flat or something and just quit 5 minutes in. After standing around the cold and throwing a tube in, I was able to ride home but my fingers had gotten too cold to continue. Now I need to decide whether to re-tubeless (which failed) or leave my undersized TPU tube in there and hope that holds. Hmmph

Parents are gone so things will return back to normal. This is good!

chilly this morning (-12°C). rode in to the office on bare roads. snow has started. decent accumulation expected by tomorrow. will make for a nice white Christmas! maybe not so relaxing driving, but meh, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. [edited to add: oh fuck, I just remembered I have to cross a 6-lane bridge that's down to two lanes at the moment... Îles aux tourtes for those that know... this is going to be fun. sigh]

time to go destroy the office bathroom.

I have no idea where I am
Trying to stay positive so I can salvage this train wreck of a Christmas season but JFC on a popsicle stick is it difficult. Got into an argument with my mom who doesn’t believe Trump is a racist or a convicted felon and women are having abortions at 7 months. :panic:

Weathermonkey.com - foggy and 43 Freedumbs here.

Made the amateur mistake of informing the wife that I needed to make a trip into town. Now my quick 1 stop trip is at 5 stops and counting. NBD really just holiday traffic…

Anyway, I should go ride my bike before going to play in traffic.

30 minutes on the phone with tech support, then escalated to the app team and all I had to do was toss the breaker and then it connected. Kinda like a Windows machine, you gotta hard reset it every now and again it seems.

I did learn where all the settings are now, the manual is totally useless.

Had to swing by work to transfer a culture so that it survives over the holidays. Ran some errands while I was on the road, bought veggies and got thai take away for lunch.
Not sure what is going on, but people are buying groceries like the shops are closed the next two weeks. :wtf:
Here in DK actually a lot of the discount grocery stores stay open over the holidays, so even less need for going bonkers.

Swung by an older neighbor and gave him some chocolates as Christmas present. Local farmer, single dude with no real family alive anymore, but good guy.

Apparently the range needs an update for some reason?
