High wind warning here today. Already had a customer call with a barn all fucked up.
I had planned a trail maintenance day this afternoon but I really don’t want to kill anyone with a falling tree.
6 years after building it, I am finally putting peg board behind my workbench. 4’x16’ might be excessive but, fuck it.

Here. Went to nice Brazilian place for dinner last night and MIL1 paid for it for once.

Wifey's condo building is almost sold, so we went through all the models to go "shopping" for furniture. We'll probably end up getting a new dining room table and bedframe for 70% off the retail price. It's really nice Restoration Hardware stuff, so we'll spend $2000 for a bunch of really nice furniture and artwork that we would otherwise never buy.

Also went to look at quartz countertops and tile for backsplash for wifey. Since MIL is paying for it, why the fuck not? It's what she's wanted for a while and it will largely "finish" the house for her.

I too woke up at 3am or some nonsense. Have been tossing and turning ever since.

Spring arrives today for one day. It'll be interesting to see all this snow melt quickly and soak everything..

How about you let some of that furniture trickle down?

Slept great. Almost 9 hours. Coffee and wordle. No fire as it's already mid 50s and supposed to hit 70 today.

Emptying master bathroom and closet for remodel starting tomorrow.

I woke up a bit early, but 5:45 instead. Went and played some PlayStation downstairs and then returned at 6:45 when the kids wake up and come in to snuggle.

Getting ready to go for a family ride on the trail closest to the house. Will make sure lungs are fully functioning beforehand to avoid a repeat of yesterday.

But now, eggs/bacon/coffee/inhaler.

Slept like crap, awake at 4:30ish again. But I think it was caused by wife having to take the DSO outside.

Oh, it's trickling down for sure. Trickling right on down to us. We are not in the market for a $5k table. $1500 to replace the one from Costco that's getting shaky? That's beyond the top of my acceptable range, but if I'm playing the happy wife game and it doesn't impact anything? Why not.

That's not how trickle down is supposed to work. I'll send a box truck.

Dancin' over rocks n' roots!
Bfast sammie and coffee while watching it rain. Getting ready to teach a trumpet lesson and help small one clear some of the crap she doesn't want/need/use out of her room (she is turning 10 soon and is talking about remodeling lol) wish me luck!

That's all just shit you'll have to get rid of in about 15 years... :D

Beatty actually. Trails were in great shape and they added a few new wooden features too.

After the trail ride, we rode over to check out additions to the pump track, which are NO joke. The Pictures don’t do that wall ride justice. It’s way past my skill level.

Hey bruhs! I ran a 5K this morning that was a benefit for a local VFW chapter. I ran 19:34, which was good for 2nd place overall. They guy who won had a huge lead but I was closing on him the last mile. He won by 6 seconds. I needed another quarter mile to catch him. It was 46 degrees and dumping rain, which sucked.
