Our rescue DSO is far from an angel, but we learned that and are extra careful with her. This particular neighbors dog, I don't even trust it when they have it on a leash. I'm grateful I was able to grab one of our reflective marker poles and whack it into giving up. Trying to tackle it barehanded would not have gone well for me...

In the cleavage of the Tetons
Have to go and permanently disable some bullshit Strava-cheater lines out in the woods. I’m considering laminating some signs that say that any shit-rider can go fast in a straight line, it’s the goddamn turns that separate the gapers from the truly fast.
But worded more passive-aggressively than that.

I assume you also whipped the dogs owned with the reflective marker pole?

Huh. How about that? My giveashitteraboutwerk just broke. I should probably go have a second breakfast. Probably go hang out with family too. Maybe ride…

Severe FTS with DSO attack meaning our weekend camping trip can't happen. Likely only got a handful of weekends left to do dumb stuff in the mountains here.

I have no idea where I am
Pretty sure I’ve gained 6 lbs since hanging out in hotels and hostels waiting to hike since last Wednesday. Only hiked one day. Been eating, a lot. Spent so much money. Thru hiker hunger can be not only expensive but obnoxious with how often I have to eat.

Sort of, just convenience store food. Which is way better than any convenience stores in the South. From PA up even subs/hoagies are better simply for the fact that they use better bread, meat and cheese. These actually have flavor. One positive note on having to end my hike at the NJ/PA border is Deli Blazing.

Get a moon pie. Even convenience stores have them up there

I have found that hoary and jaded are nearly as good as young and sharp, except for the young part. Those little dewy eyed bastards with their supple skin.
