Coffeeing. Bills. Then a plant tour at the processing facility where the seed I’ll be selling is packaged.
Fun fact, I started in the seed ind 20 years ago at this same facility and family when they used to have their own sales side. Now I am starting in it again at the same place.

well hello there little buddy!

Work was done on time yesterday so I got to bail out and do the time trial I've been working on. PRed by like 20 seconds, which is neat. Total power was down for the loop by 20w which means all the little things are working (faster tire etc.) but I need to optimize my position to get my power back where it should be (maybe train, too). Shifting worked OK but I'm still thinking about weird electronic shifters. Broke my stem cap last night trying to fix a wobbly headset. A little finagling and got it to work again.

Went out with some friends last night for food truck + music on the green. Great time and the BBQ was decent.

Today shall consist of many meetings, mid-year goals review , and mowing the lawn before we leave for VT (again) tomorrow.

Ditched work and will take the boy biking today. It's the first time he's wanted to do something with me all summer, so I'm stoked.

It's his 3rd ride on his new bike, and will be a 'get back into shape' ride for me. Nothing too gnarly, but still some good climbing and descents.

Woke up at 5, and got back to sleep at 6:20, but I'm still tired AF. Need moar coffee.

Morning, Espresso be kicking in. We convinced the last of the pain in the ass employees that the CEO hired to seek employment elsewhere yesterday. I hate folks that don't understand why showing up 45 minutes late for a shift on an ambulance is not ok. They went to a bigger firm and will be in for a shock when they get canned for non performance during their probationary period.

Light schedule today WIN

Any interest in an early october bottlerocket/mountain biking weekend?
possibly? got any deets? can't make any promises, got a bunch of stuff going on to get ready for the pool install.
my megatrail is still sitting in pieces, but i've been spending almost all my ride time this year on my road bike or DH bike.

Morning Monkeys.

It's Thursday and the stuff that was supposed to be done Tuesday isn't and it's kicking my ass. I'm on my 4th approach trying to get this to work and so far nothing. I've learned a lot in this process but feel like my production is lacking and there's so much shit to do. I have to sack up and admit I'm in over my head and I hate that feeling. It's not even Friday yet.

Ordered the last parts for the truck. Water pump, belt tensioner, sway bar bushings and a cool air filter that I'm not sure I will use.

Might pick your brain on a good place to visit- the keys are on my list. I love the carribean but not needing a passport is tight.

I would like to essentially repeat monkeyfest but I'm not tied to kingdom trails. Woody has a line on a condo at Sugarbush, but I'm not sure there are decent XC/trail trails there. I do not want to travel 4 hours to ride MA style tech-death-march. So yeah, could definitely see a DH day and a lot of XC miles at someplace that will facilitate.

for sure. been to the keys a number of times now, feel free to pick my brain. we opted for keys first for the trip since we were able to get a direct flight. you might have more options out of boston.

upside of the carribean is no trump/maga flags or brodozers.

roger that. sugarbush would be a 7+ hr drive for me, so that might be a challenge logistically for just a weekend trip.

So night before last the wife noticed Hank sleeping on the floor next to the bed Abbey was on even though they both fit. So she hits Amazon and gets Hank his own bed.

Time for bed, wife takes Hanks new bed to the bedroom. The view this morning.

Puerto Rico - no passports, it's the Caribbean, with the HUGE advantage of not being fuckin' Florida. :disgust:

The rum's ALWAYS gone.

Also: yesterday was National Rum Day.
Clearly having emailed with you in the past is why I get spam emails telling me I need to be investing in rum.

Not sure who to blame for the 100 "free spins" emails in junk per day.
