Morning Monkeys! Excessive road bikery last evening resulted in 11 hours of sleep. It was 105 degrees with very little humidity so keeping cool at speed was easy enough. I saw one biker and one in-line skater in 16 miles. Today will not be as hot but I am saving myself for some virgin to me tails on Monday.

It's a mixed use wooded area near motto trails about an hour outside of town. Beer cans and condoms are expected.

Wife and I went out for 26 miles, 4000ft vert and made sure we got nice and high topping out at 12,500.

Then they hard casted it, against my wishes. I would have preferred the boot so I can take off the boot and start pushing it.
The stitches are out thankfully. Last hard cast I had, a scab got really infected that required a window. That was nasty and stunk. This wound is bigger than I thought it would be. Whoohoo for synthetic ligaments! And yea @Pesqueeb the doc was smiling when he said hard cast and i think the look on my face betrayed my feelings.Which is why you probably got the cast.
Yeah, after you showed me how far your ankle rolls, I pretty much made up my mind to get the ligament repaired. Let me tell you, its not as bad as it looks! (Haha)
