Coffee time, then car time, then banana time, then work time, then ride time, then sleep time.

I've got major bum chaffage. Apparently not riding in 10-11 months will do that. Who would thought...

Good morning, internet friends. It is Friday, and while that is nice and all, what's even better is knowing all of you fine individuals. I hope you all have a terrific day, and I wish you good health and happiness.

Slept in, Standby EMT gig is 70 miles away and doesnt start until noon and runs through Sunday afternoon. I figure I will wait until the end of the morning commute to hit the road. Having a tasty cup of coffee and hanging with my dogs this brisk morning.

awesome ride last night. was able to push hard for the first 2/3. then faded for a bit, and regained my composure after 5 of those jelly things, just in time for the final descent. nice.

One more day of work, then off to Vermont with the fam. Looking forward to lakes, rivers, ice cream, good beer and the kids running around buckwild for a week (and Perry Hill! and possibly Kingdom if I can score enough time away).

Some days I like my job. Yesterday I did not. Even though I was only on service for half a day, I read nearly twice as many studies as one of the other attendings who was on (for the full day!). The other attending who was on read about as many, but again, over the full day, not the half day as I was on. Gah. Same shit happens everywhere and this usually isn't this bad day to day, thankfully.

Still better than the average rm dentist.
was about to say... I had a dentist in high school who was the president of the local rugby league. He was huge, and his fingers were like sausages. It was an odd notion of such a big dude working in such a small space.

I hope your doctor is not like this. unless you like that sort of thing. nttawt if you are.

I've got a Fvck-ectomy scheduled.
Almost ready to leave for Scandalnavia, and a house I like just showed up on the market. Overseas home purchase transaction? What could go wrong?

went for a very slow ride last night. I'm surprisingly sore from it, nonetheless.

I seem to be hunching my shoulders a lot on the bike. not sure what that's all about.

The caliber of customer in the Logan International terminal is much better than your normal 'Merican airport. The short shorts display in front of the Iberia counter is outstanding!

Gives new meaning to "above the fold".

I feel like I woke up in a third world country. I had to deal with theft, extortion, and complete incompetence. None of it was even related.

Bad news - $230 prescription earlier this week from my GP for suppositories.
Worse news - there were 28 of them.

Worst news - Got updated prescription from specialist today for $14. Shoulda done this first.

At least I avoided pre travel procedure. Of course, I just get to have one when I get back. With luck, drugs will make it less invasive.

Fvck you, body. This getting old ish isn't going to fly if you keep this pace. I'll go back to treating everything with gin. Not sure why I ever stopped that program.

Trying to clear up loose ends before I leave here. New Racing Honda sucks. Being without a car sucks.... 16.5 hours closer.... 15 hours cost $16K. 20 more to go....

My cool brothers marriage is imploding. My other brother is in Jail. Roseclair sold for the taxes. Profit = Nothing, Moody street made enough money to break even. Barely,

Like I said before (I think) I've ridden Farlow without a rear brake. It can be done, but I wouldn't want to do it again.
