Rode solo mtb last night taking advantage of beautiful fall sunny 70s weather. Also worked on the garden all day before the ride filling up soil around the new patio and started planting in front of it. Rode to work too this morning. Ran out of battery on the Di2 but in good gear for some single speed fun. I finally found the charge last week but too much on my mind to get to the chareging. All this activity has made me lose a big part of the belly fat I accumulated while broken and poste operation so that is a really good thing.

Today's high is only 65 and it's rainy. Hell yes.

Trying to design our yard so we can get some nice plantings done later this year. Well, after rot and siding repair thst is.

I have a lot of travel coming up this fall including US, Hungary and Munich. I really hate airports since I am not fancy enough for business class.
I got this flight booked via the travel agency and they put me in coach, sandwiched between two big snoring dudes and kicking screaming kid behind me, going to be a long 3 hours to Dallas. Going to just stay awake at this point to get rest on the overnight to Germany. Already been up for 24 hours

I made it 5 decades as of today. Unfortunately no riding ‘cause it’s pouring rain and surely the mountain is closed in this weather.

Breakfast of champions and then headed home.

Edit: Don’t know why it’s crooked…

Woke up with another headache. Ughhh.

Not sure if I want to try to ride or just go home and relax. Cottage traffic going home is going to be horrendous.

Going to take it out on it's inaugural ride here in 30 minutes.

Good luck getting one as Dirtbags is shutting down shop.

There are so many small bag makers these days, its hard to keep up!

Dancin' over rocks n' roots!

Kind of over being stuck in the house, which I suppose is a sign of feeling better. Did a little work in the garage yesterday and it absolutely wiped me out.
I did laundry last night and was wiped out! Our laundry room is in the basement so I washed then went down to dry then back to fold and carry to the 2nd floor. I did however sleep like a rock for 11 hours and am feeling better today. Sinus headache but that's likely from the rain we are getting too.

Syd took her sister shopping....so weird not to have to drive them anymore...so it's nice and quiet here at the house with me and the dog.

My AMAZING wife surprised me with my dad coming by for dinner for my birthday. Totally caught me off guard.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Love RM!
