welp. only wookie sizes available at the re-cycles place. that means I'm ordering from BikesDirect. Only thing left to decide is do I get a bright bike for visibility? or a stealth bike so it doesn't stand out in the crowd (to thwart potential thieves). Either way, it'll be a $330 bike, so no major attachment to it. I'm actually leaning towards the bright pink one...

it will get a new seat, fenders, a pannier rack if it will fit, and my 45 Nrth Gravdal tires...

I commuted for years on a $300 new SS bike in NYC. I vote for the pink and put some reflective tape down the back of the stays.

Not sure of your size but they have a few models in the scratch and dent bin -- I haven't noticed any significant scuffs etc. in the couple or 3 bikes I've gotten from bikeisland though YMMV:

restructured my structured training which took my plan back to square one. That called for an FTP test despite somewhat gassed legs. Made it through the warmup, got myself as good as I could be, then dropped a chain which required dismounting and pushing it back on. Got back on the bike, unpaused, and the legs weren't having it. I would have needed to warm up again and that's not how the test works. Oh well :(

Cast off, splint on.

Tested out the grip pushing a shopping cart tonight, hmm not good.

Maybe I can just ride the double track tomorrow? Maybe?

New coworker couldn't call in till after nine to say he wouldn't be there.

We start at six.

I'm getting shit on cause I don't have everything running, can't write programs and set up multiple machines at the same time.

Fuck everything and everyone this holiday season.

A bunch of sketchy shit happened on a project I worked back in 2019. I fought tooth and nail with suppliers, supplier management, my managers, my manager's managers and failed to prevent said sketchiness. 5 years later someone observes said sketchiness, and who do they call to try to fix it? The asshole who did everything in his power to prevent it.

My thumb got broke'd, while crossing a gravel path on the bike a few weeks ago. :busted: :banghead:

They put a cast that goes halfway to my elbow on it...overkill.
No Brother,we Monkeys need to know a little, just a little bit more detail on how the Fuck the “thumb got broke’d”?

Forgive Avy if I am late on the matter. I would love to know.
