I can see, I can see

on Tuesday I had an eye exam with the Optometrist at our local Costco then went and ordered a new pair of glasses from them. They arrived about an hour ago. That doc did the best prescription I have ever had. I can read really small print, and I can see clearly at mid and far distance. The anti glare coatings worked superbly driving home at night. I might just order a second pair.

Took off on the 'adventure' bike and didn't really have a plan. While the sun was up it felt good and many happy pedals were spun. Then the sun went down and the fingers and toes became cold. The descent off the ridge on 4x4 hill climbs resulted in a flat rear tire. I was able to get the tire back in action before my fingers wanted to fall off. I went through or over 6 fences.

The last fence I went through, there was a vehicle approaching on the gravel road. As I ducked through the hole in the fence, i was squarely in their headlights, caught red handed. I proceeded as if nothing was odd and realized I was facing a county sheriff. He didn't even take his foot off the gas and was quickly a distant pair of red lights.
