Keystone bike park says they'll open June 7th, Winter Park, June 15th. I'm thinking it will need a mud sled rather than a bike for any runs...

Also eff work travel.

Made a really strong cup of coffee this morning. WIN. My ankle is really coming around. 30 minute on the elliptical followed by a 30 minute walk then I wrapped it in cold packs for 20 minutes last night. Minimal swelling and no discomfort this morning. Next week I will start the weight training portion of the rehab.

Morning Monkeys.

Hope for another low key quiet day. I am helping Santa rebuild his fence after work because a tree took it out over the weekend. The wife asked me to offer to help and I honestly didn't think he would take me up on it.

Tomorrow I am dropping Frita off at the new diesel shop to have them swap out the u joints and carrier bearing. I hope to take her out somewhere this weekend. Scrambling.

Photoshoot at 6am in Westminster. Was worth it just for the breakfast burrito I got on the way back to the ranch.
Big Mama knows her way around a burrito. The green chili is the mf'n bomb too.

Hello monkeys, can't decide if drive by. Plans today do not include dentist or roofing but may include burrito and "photo shoot". I need new valve stems and will spend the day swapping out tires on the mountain bikes. This year I am going with Minion DSR II up front and SS in back. Going to ride tomorrow with montanarider at a place called Copper near Three Forks - the closest beer to the trails there is a strip joint.

Do they shoot the beets out of their hoo-hahs?

Copper City? Let me know how that place pans out... kid is going to MSU, so I may occasionally have an opportunity to ride up there.

Drove by @Nick's house today. Waved as I went by. Got accused of being under 30 by a client today, while being somewhat discredited as to what I was telling him. When I told him I'm 39 this year and have been doing this for 15 years he just slack jawed and started listening to me more attentively.

I finally found out something about my trip to Nebraska next week. I'm a week out and I finally know what client I'm going to see and a few more details.

You sure you got a promotion?
One time event. New client and they need somebody trained on the new investment management platform to handle the meetings. I am the only person in the government scope who has that training currently, due to my prior role.

Negative. I work in the government sector, so it's a public entity. I'm going to Columbus, Nebraska. That is the most information I have currently though.
You should confirm whether or not that town is under water. And I mean that literally. :D

Gave my notice at work yesterday. Gonna go to work at my favorite brewery pouring beer. Looking forward to a change.
