Not 1, not 2, but 3 ground-wasp nests today in the vineyard. Three! And they are so aggressive right now. I didn’t burn down the state, but I did go through three cans of spray. Local hardware store didn’t have DE and I didn’t feel like an hour round trip to Lowes, but I am gonna try that method fer sure.

Took 3 days, but zero signs of life from the nest in my yard.

I hope for the best, for everyone in the Northwest Territories. The firemap up there basically looks like the whole place is lit up.

Trying to check in on younger brother, he's a fire captain just north of there :/

The concrete guys stopped by when I was out riding this afternoon to pull the forms and score lines in the patio… it LOOKS SO GOOD. Many excited, so pumped. Having several beers on said patio now for quality control reasons.

(Also there’s no way now anyone’s finding those bodies @kidwoo stashed under there when he visited this summer…)

I seriously am thinking we should sell the Victor house, and buy something in or near Durango.
Yes, another snotty, white, )and a little more brown) mountain town.
Big stretch.
In other news, the riding here is so good. (Did a butterfly of Engineer Mountain Trail and Coal Creek). Very pedally without shuttling.

last time I gave him my address he literally sent me a bag of dicks

you'd think I'd learn
i assume you sprinkled them liberally on the front doormats of nearby airbnbs and placed them lovingly under the windshield wipers of teslas and range rovers, no? oh what a gift!
