Pending offer letter from internal job. Waiting patiently to walk into my boss' office to tell him I had a formal interview (company policy) and I have accepted the job in one go. It will be more hours for slightly more pay, but the director who hired me laid out my expected flight path.

Inbound call team until I fully know the system >> outbound team, which I will probably be the first member >> once that team is built out, moving to a senior portfolio specialist role >> then depending on where I want to go: the team leader or an external institutional sales position. She has laid out the pay scale at each position and it's a very good route to be on.

Getting back into my training cycle again. Swimming most mornings, on the trainer every other day. I still can't run.

Shocker! Epidurals are your friend. You can do pretty much as many as you want, according to my Dr. He's very against surgery though.

actually, based on the amount of improvement i've made from the facet injections alone they don't recommend an epidural yet. i don't have the shooting pain in my legs that's typically associated with it. they want me to continue the PT i'm doing at home, and then if the pain comes back we'll reevaluate.

^^ouch!

Morning! Ran last night, then biked in the woods for a while after that. Felt good. Tired this morning. Coffee cheers!

Cleanout: The last two hit or miss engines, a 6 hp Sandwich and a Maytag, a self-propelled sickle mower, and a powered Reo reel mower, plus various boxes of spares and trading bits, just went down the road on a trailer. Moving the Sandwich out of the garage and onto the trailer was an interesting and somewhat perilous exercise. I prefer moving heavy stuff by myself without other people to distract me.

Of course, I am very careful about how I load it up. Don't want to burn down the bong shed and cause another fire situation. Like a boy scout--always be prepared!

Howdy all. Nice work snagging the internal transfer, Stoney, as long as there's a limit to the "more hours" bit.

I'm dropping off what should be the last check due to the builder before closing, which is still tentatively around the new year. Our house in progress now has (unpainted) siding.

Thanks. About an hour more per day. It's not drastic, although having to drive to our main office will add about 20min to my commute. I will need to pay a bit more attention to my wasted time, especially as I get back into full training and start working on my CRPC (CFP Lite)

Fuck. So I dropped my car off at the garage for routine maintenance. Brake inspection was part of this service and they found the rear discs was rusted out and the brake pads were well below 10% remaining. So what was supposed to be a $200 job turned out to be $800. :(

What I find odd is that the front brake pads are still at 70%. Seems that there's a balancing issue there, but the front desk people tell me there's nothing can be done as the front/rear braking balance is factory set.???

It's a 2013 Mazda CX-5, manual transmission.

What started off as a meh day had gotten even more meh.

those bra-less hippie chicks tho.
(i dont mind the body hair)
there is a certain ratio between fullness of breast and sag which comes into factor as to what should be acceptable going sans bra.

i must pass on hairy wookietes.
