Cabinet bases built and mounted. I wasn't able to get things connected and squared up though. I was testing painting (oil based prime > sanding > paint) on MDF and birch ply over the last two days as well, but neither really turned out well. I'm kicking myself for having thrown out my pieces of spare butcher block because I can't use it for the paint trial now.

Because I'm throwing away all of my scrap wood (ply; keeping my hardwoods), I tried to make best use of the scrap and ended up with enough to make another drill rack. Still getting rid of a lot more wood than I want to, but using a lot.

Is that all in the front room?
Yep. Finally, after 4 years, moving beyond a room full of misc storage. Dark cabinet is going to MIL, as a place to "display" things (gets them out of boxes).
