Heh - we all have to have that Front Range experience. Mine was at Matthew-Winters. Sadly, the other guy ended up in the ravine. I learned an important lesson that day... at his expense.<snip>
Got in a much needed ride last night. Much slaying was done except for the part where I rounded a sharp corner to find 3 uphill riders coming my way. Luckily my face teamed up with a nearby bush to halt my progress.
There was a shit ton of people riding, running, and hiking up the Apex trail. How am I supposed to get KOMs with those low energy losers clogging up my trails?Heh - we all have to have that Front Range experience. Mine was at Matthew-Winters. One benefit of living in Montana is the lack of people, I seldom see more than a few people while out riding. Yesterday there were only 2.There was a shit ton of people riding, running, and hiking up the Apex trail. How am I supposed to get KOMs with those low energy losers clogging up my trails?

Wouldn't even need to be sunny for me. I'd rather sit out in the rain all day than be stuck here in the office.i mean, i guess. you did volunteer to do that on your own.
i'd feel better drinking a beer on a sunny mountaintop though.

Yes, about 90 percent of the time anyway. I still prefer it to the overpopulated urban centers of Seattle and Denver, the only other places where I've worked.Montana. Where a guy on a bike usually means DUI?
Only you can prevent forest fires. Its also raining here, scattered thunderstorms all seem to have gathered above me. I've only ridden twice this month.I have not ridden at all this month, and it's threatening to rain.
Perfect opportunity to de-sanitize the dirt sidewalks....and it's raining.
