Further, that Bitterbrush trail is rugged. The trails were clogged with people. I got over for everyone. One lady gave me attitude and said I was destroying the trails. Lol crazy people. Thankfully I'm a tourist in this place.
Destroying a trail that's mostly rock, what were ya doin?? Sorry I couldn't make it up there, iffy knee wouldn't be happy with all those power moves, plus it's my on call week so I tend not to stray too far from home.

Attn: @SkaredShtles @Nick @Toshi @Pesqueeb and @Full Trucker I put the winter wheels on the car today in 60 freedums. So the resorts are either going to get feet of snow for you through this next week or it's going to be 60 until new year.

No worries - it was miserable stopping and letting people by. I ran into likely more than 100 people in 24 miles.

Weather was amazing though and the trails were great. Some people spent mega time stacking rocks out there.

Reeb Steezl set at 140mm w/ 160mm fork. Mixed wheels. Probably weighed 38 lbs. Pedaled great through chunk and I could throw it into the chunk with giggles on the down hill. Definitley a land shark and 24 mile xc rides with 2700ft of vert can be done more efficiently on a different bike. Didn't want to go airborne with english but if sent off a lip it was fine in the air.

Good day at the park, good day to end the season. Haven't gotten this many days of dh in a season (incl 5 weekends in a row) since before the kids were born; that's not really saying much tbh, but I'll take it.
:headbang:
speaking of...really need to find a day or two to get over to rock creek soon. and eventually, windrock...

Rode that place many, many times when we lived in Longmont. Weekdays for the low close to town stuff, weekends for the higher up/further out stuff. Close to town trails just turn into crowded shit-shows on the weekends. Probably even worse now.

More people logged strava rides on Bitterbrush today than my home trails have seen all year so far.
