Might accidentally myself a 3D printer instead of relying on coworkers with them and/or using the company printers. But I did just accidentally a new head unit for the brodozer, so that would be more accidenting than I'd be comfortable with in a short period of time.

steelies make the world go round

I would totally have them on my LC but could only find them new or for ridiculous "1 for sale" eBay prices to fit it/the Tundra. Tundra OEM takeoff forged wheels were cheaper.

Managed to have a piece of metal get away from me while drilling it out, pretty good metal filing cuts across three fingers. Nothing too traumatic, just the sort of deep paper cut type ouchie that hurts like a SOB and probably wont heal for a month. :disgust:

Letter headed to probate court today informing judge of plan to move Hilarie into managed memory care in June... I'm feeling more than fragmented.
Good for you John. I mean, I know it sucks and must be incredibly hard, but you have never struck me as the sort to make a decision like that flippantly. I'm sure you're doing whats best for both of you.

big weekend just finished. was the celebration of life for my friend's son. it was an intimate gathering for family and close friends. over 250 showed up. this boy was bright and he was loved by many. he will be missed dearly. i can only hope he has found the peace he so deeply longed for.
:(

While on the subject of physical and emotional trauma, realized on the way in that it's the 16th anniversary of my accident. So I've been riding that roller coaster most of the day and I REALLY don't want to be here right now.

ladling out the "informative" reaction since none of the others really seem appropriate

Sorry JBP. Although I know a few older friends and relatives who swore such things off only to really enjoy them once they got in.

This is the view from my window if the tree isn't in the way. I have a huge list of stuff to learn and they liked the ideas I had on the stuff they are still working out.

Hang in there. Just went through it and it absolutely sucked. Wife is getting better but I suspect another week to go (two weeks in already) due to the sore ribs and congestion.

Keep in contact with your doctor if things aren’t improving. You got this.

not enough overlander stickers obviously....

A few years a coworker of mine failed to come into work after we got 2" of snow. He claimed he couldn't get up the very modest hill in his neighborhood. He had just bought a Jeep Wrangler. He didn't know that you had to shift it into 4WD.

In his defense, he grew up Mormon and is completely fucking clueless outside the world of magic pebbles and sister wives.

Even I know the secret powers of the magic underwear. Bro forgot his roots!

Oh, out in the Eastern Idaho parts, the MoMo boys might not know much about social justice and hook-up culture, but they damn sure know lots and lots about 4WD and such.

Home schooled and raised only by his mother and a dozen or so sisters. One of my favorite people because he is so damn strange, but it would seem he knows absolutely nothing outside of what he was taught to get an Electrical Engineering degree.
