Woohoo, its Friday, again.

Took some edibles last night, because why not? Perhaps took them too close too going to bed, as my head feels quite foggy this morning. Did sleep well though and didn't take any form of sleep aid.

Decided to work at the head office today, in order to avoid as many people as possible.

Hopefully the weather stays nice for the weekend or at the very least doesn't rain.

been struggling with back pain all week. living on celebrex and tylenol. it all started when I put in some volunteer hours at the ski club stacking wood. maybe I shouldn't do jobs that require me to repetitively bend over and lift things... going to get a therapeutic massage today. often times those hurt for a day or two, but fix things in the long run. wish me luck.

I was totally surprised at my son's play last night. he doesn't seem to be engaged in his drama program, and projects that he doesn't care about it, so I was expecting him to just recite his lines in a monotone, maybe forget some, and kind of just half ass it.... but he blew me away. of course I'm biased, but I feel like he actually projected the emotions of his character (Haimon), used his body really well, and was maybe the best actor of the evening. It totally surprised me. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised, he seems to give his 100% in his ski races and at practices, but I always felt all the other stuff that surrounds it, the prep work, the race planning, objective setting, diet, sleep gets overlooked. But maybe he just hides it from me?! I suppose he's only 14, so it's normal...? Anyways, what a trip it is to be part of watching him grow...

 I'd root for Tyson too, but fuck if that douchbag kid didn't grow hisself into a big douchbag boxer.

If you're ever bored, go watch old video on YT of Tyson boxing in his youth, like before he was champ. Its still impressive 35-40 years later.

Not a jab ( :D ) or anything, but did you know there are two Paul brothers?

Logan, the one not fighting, is the smaller Pro-Douche scammer.

In no way am I saying that Jake is also not a douchebag. :busted:

Just been a long week. No word from the Trek store about my new frame.

House sale is dragging out so I rented a small room super close to the office I am not in the house. Spilt house with the ex wife so I am there two weeks at the time.

Feel normal today. Still had some lingering lethargy from the Covid/flu shot yesterday. Getting the van packed for a road trip where bikes will be involved on the way to parents for thanksgiving.

In the cleavage of the Tetons
Finally got around to that second Shingles shot. Slept until 11:00 am. Not sure if I feel like crap due to the shot, or just being old, tired, sore, and a little grumpy.

Por qué no los dos, por supuesto…

Gotta go drag out the studded snows…

In a van.... down by the river
yes. came with the house, so bargain basement model from the flip. this was a good sale, and when i put it in the cart there was a bonus 10% off.
Yeah - when we bought ours it was the height of the pandemic (Nov '20), our old range's oven was shitting the bed, so needless to say we paid through the nose. But it's simply light years ahead of electric ranges for someone that likes to cook.

it's something we've been discussing for a bit, we found something highly rated by CR and was at a price we agreed to.

will be nice going back to a convection oven after over a decade. curious to see how oven airfrying works.
