Up early cause that's what I do. Gonna throw the bikes and trailer in the truck and head on up to the rail trail for a proper ride.

Turtles are hatching. Wife and I moved 5 babies from the road yesterday.

Family ski day, perhaps the last of the season for the whole crew.

I might pop up Thursday night/Friday as well given the forecast, skin up early for a fresh run. Monday I have my ortho knee appointment so don’t want to shuffle that.

Good morning and whatnot. I had a fun day in Boston yesterday. I'm all checked in for Monday's race, so I'll spend the weekend mostly relaxing.

We had great seats for the Red Sox game last night and that shitty team actually managed to win. God, they have a lousy squad this year.

Forecast rain is holding off until later than predicted. Should be able to get a decent ride today!

Still recovering from whatever the hell I had on Thursday night/Friday morning, wife was sick too, but entirely different symptoms.

Oh well, that yard ain't gonna mow itself. Hoping to be recovered enough for a ride tomorrow.

Driving the Sprinter in red flag weather is a PITA.
We'll just meander on route 66 to make it tolerable.

Highly successful day in many areas

1) Thorough 4hr cleaning of wife's car as it is becoming my daily driver
2) Sold hardtop for some extra cash and cleared up space
3) Drove Jeep sans doors/top to and from the skatepark with son and didn't get rained on or anything stolen
4) Rode said skatepark with son
5) Currently trying to convince wife that tonight's dinner should be BBQ and beers at a brewery

It is just bitterly cold here at WP. Lunch Rock was thus as crowded as I’ve ever seen it.

Practice successful. Now that she's actually driving with kids whose karts are setup equally, comparisons are eye opening. One was WAY faster, but he's racing under a local team. Another who finished high last year was moving at the same pace at it took over 8 laps for him to close 2 kart lengths to even get into a passing position. Haley didn't even realize that he was there, so once she did, dropped the hammer and opened up a kart length in half a lap. The others we 1sec+ off of her. She dropped .95sec by swapping to new tires, which was a big booster.

Took my kiddos down to the big park with a pond today. They're hosting a kids fish in where the pond is stocked with 500 trout and then the kids get to catch em all.

Except this AM one of the first things the kids reeled in was a missing homeless guy who hadn't been seen in 10 days. Oops
