Here. Busy day. Wifey is properly sick, so she's down hard. Haley is taking "babysit Mom" duty since I'm back-back meetings today. She'll also be learning to drink Gatorade this week (she only drinks milk and water), since she will absolutely need it in Junction. Hannah is apparently going to the aquarium today. Fun times!

Rode a bicycle down the mountain at 6AM, then had to be back to my desk by 7AM to pretend to start work which means I had to climb back up.

Also, almost took a crow to the face at 40mph, had to swerve out the way. Which was nice.

Need to find the poop bucket, me thinks.

Fingers crossed the fires don't get worse today. The town lost power yesterday for a moment, because of one of them.

This is the one that started yesterday and is just over the ridge from Panorama (and our crown land camping).

So after the 14 years of studying is your job going to chill out and be less stressful? Going to give yourself a heart attack.

Putting the finishing touches on drywall in the basement. Long time coming, but damn did I do a good job.

Now to sand off a bunch of heinous texture in the stairwell then its onto paint.

Boss isn't back from vacation yet and this is all stuff that was scheduled prior.

Did do some CFP job shopping last night though... I might just say fuck it and let someone else deal with it. There are plenty of jobs that pay plenty more.

Am I replaceable? Yes we all are. Is it going to hurt them for me to leave? Yes. Badly and for an extended period, since we don't have any trained reps available to take my load and we have multiple open and upcoming RFPs on my plans. They might save $20-30k labor after the hiring of a new person, but there's a good chance it will cost them $300k/plan that they lose.

Also, about 30-40% of the stress I was dealing with was around getting the CFP in itself. Finishing work, just to spend the next 4hrs studying, was soul crushing. Now the stress is a lot lower already. Just anxious waiting for formal approval to use the letters for well, everything - work, applications, etc. Hannah will be in school with Haley starting in 2 weeks, so that will help too. Only thing now is dealing with insurance around the house, which is a 'whatever' since it needs to happen, and disposing of the old kart. Life is going back to "normal" here shortly.

$9 says they choose the cheaper new person and pretend the latter part didn't happen. :D

Almost guaranteed. But the revenue drop will be fun. Every plan I'm pulled off of has an identifiable revenue drop, which is why I am on and have been on, our largest and most difficult plans. Oh, and my Jr on the team (there's 3 of us) is interviewing currently. Sometimes you just gotta give it a minute to let the pieces get unstable before you kick the table.

My FTS is 12. Still catching up and my responses of "you need to contact [xvy]" are getting more prevalent. Headache is coming back, so still not fully past sick.

Decided donuts and beer Friday morning for the guys at the shop. Heading down at 9am to get the kart and I owe them more and a few 6-packs.

My FTS/0Fucks meter is pegged. Starting to have a little anxiety about leaving as at the moment I am the only agent that knows even a little about farms. 60-70% of our book of business is farming related.

hey ding dongs how are you

$14 of new housing and my shifting still isn't as fixed as I'd like it to be. Cage and hanger appear to be straight. Has to be an alignment issue of some time.
