I learnt a shit lesson today, was supposed to be engine out, two new seals, engine in, easy.
I was putting the flywheel on thinking it felt a bit strange, so I took it back off.
Turned out there was not enough clearance in the flywheel recess to clear the Speedi-Sleeve that I had just put on. When I was tightening the flywheel bolts it was driving the Sleeve along the crankshaft, it was now dead and there was no stock within 60 Miles, fuck!
Pretty glad I didn't just rattle the bolts in as the seal would have melted not long after starting the engine.

My sleep is on the improve, my eyes were so fucked last week that people asked if I'd punched some cones before work, hahaha!

Day 3 of another insomnia streak. I'm dying over here.
Is that about the point where you want to throat punch the next person that tells you "What you need to do is........."?
Getting sleep advice from people that have no dramas sleeping fucking sucks!

My bowels feel more under control today. Perhaps it was the sliver of shroom that I ate on Sunday, which caused the blowout?

Keeping with the long tradition of getting needles full of 5G nano bots shoved into my arm, I got a shingles vaccine yesterday. Moderately sore arm, but 100% shingle free.

I was waiting for the mill to open so I could get to job 1 or maybe it’s 2, on time. The scale was broken so I had to wait an hour.
Now dealing with the same customers that cancel for non payment every other month. Pay your fucking bills.

She had to have ran into it or into its path. I have ran blades for years and they are slow, unresponsive and very sloth like even in road gears. I doubt you could get a 770c up to 20mph in city streets. I think the title should read, cyclist dies after striking grader.

Sounds like he turned over her. They were both stopped going in the same direction, and he made a right turn. I'm going to guess he didn't see her. :(

Sunny and cold here. Snow is hard as rock. Might soften up later in the day though. Perhaps a good night for a skate ski with the boy.

I'm due for round 2 of de-shingling. Then I will be immortal.

Wtf is wrong with people? Zoombombing is an actual thing and I honestly don't get it. So you call into random Zoom meetings to jerk off on camera? Seriously, wtf is wrong with you?

I mean it’s wrong but kind of awesome. I could only imagine my bosses face if somerando called in and started waxing it.

Little late to the party this morn, apparently doubled up on edibles last night. 20mg is now noted in the captains log for borg like sleep, check.

In other news,

ATT says my phone and ipad are 14 weeks out, wtf

The plants that supplies Apple with a lot of their chips/components are shut down due to Covid lockdowns in China.

You'd think companies may start to second guess complex international supply chains because of what has happened over the last 2 years, until they find out they think they can make an extra $0.02 in profit margins.

Ubiquitous plug for Ross Creek cedar State Park whenever I hear the word Libby...

Just a small Grove of uncut cedars, AKA what passes for Big trees in Montana

ETA: if we don't get more of our late March early April snow there might not be much visibility this summer, my shitbox box in Idaho is supposed to be 50s this week...

No bueno for forest fires

How?
Asking for a friend.
Apparently there is a troll group or something somewhere that publishes public zoom calls like an online class or community meetings and they call in, take over the meeting and share porn or in this case, rub one out for folks to enjoy.

The HOA will never be the same, just saying.

A major ferry company in the UK, P&O just fired most of its UK workforce and replaced them with foreign crew, rumored to being paid under £2/hr.

I'm sure that wasn't for profit margins at all...
