From Hell's own heart I stab at thee! For Hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee!

Oh, sorry, I mean of course I'd like to join this client call with no context and get put on the spot to try and solve something they are not paying for with magic, wishes, and vaporware

Ask them if they have an FM Receiver.

Because your Fucking Magic will not work if they don't have one.

why not 8’, boostin’?
Less 8ft beds being made and they have a bigger foot print. 6.5ft fits me and a bike in the bed under a canopy with no issue.

8ft is deeper for me to crawl into also when something I want is in the back.

I'd take an 8ft bed if thats what I found but 6.5ft works and theres way more out there!

I have a gift. I'm not even trying, I ran a simple IPV6 ping and it locks up the shell, WTF. As soon as I try another system in the lab, my burn box blows up with a license timeout error, then fails to find the log file to report it to, so it just dies.

Consider me shocked that a greasy porn star from the 80s isn't a good guy.
He was starting to get roles other than porn and had become a sub-culture icon. Then dozens of women came forward with sexual assault allegations. Was supposed to go to trial, but went bonkers. Had to check Wikipedia to see if had been incarcerated.

Was certainly one of my favorite celebrities to photochop.

Usually when a program has an event, it gets written in a log file. This application had an event, then failed to find the appropriate log file in which to write about it in. So not only did the application have a negative event occur, there is no record of said event except which that is displayed on the screen (as added in my original post).

Had I not been in the office, I would have missed the whole thing and just know I can no longer reach my burn box system.

Try and find a cap with windoors. It'll make reaching those things up front that much easier.

You looking at a single, super, or crew cab?

At least for the crew cab, I too would prefer a 6.5' bed to an 8' unless absolutely necessary. It may only be 1.5', but that difference often feels exaggerated.

I have owned the caps with side door/windows. They're badass and allow for reaching the hard to reach places.

I would prefer a single cab but for instance - Dodge doesnt sell a single cab turbo diesel.

I would take a 1.5 cab but am vehemently against a quad cab for solo road trip vehicle.

Someone at worked who knows I mountainbike asked if I used the international standard ASTM F2043 Standard Classification For Bicycle Usage. I looked it up and said "no I don't follow international standards for my hobbies, but never go full Condition 5 on a single crown fork"

Here. Got an awesome email for Haley today.
Hello K1 Speed National Championship Qualifier!

Congratulations on finishing in the Top 3 of our State Championships and progressing to the next stage on the road to the K1 Speed E-World Championships - the K1 Speed National Championships!
Our initial plan to drive was detonated because school testing is that week, so we get to fly out Friday night instead. Oh well. I get to save the day for other vacation usage.

Otherwise, nothing planned this weekend.

My FTS is still 12. I did a couple of large dollar transactions this week, which have rocketed me to the front of the national performance list. I do half as many meetings as the rest of our national team, but the net value is 2x as much... Somebody seems to have missed last week but that might be getting realized quickly. I also got myself (not the rest of the team) access into client that we lost access to a few years ago. I've gotten more "check in" emails from senior management in the last week than I have in the last year. I think the "ask [boss]" being given to people from multiple departments is starting to rattle some people. Our bonus is valued and paid out in two weeks, so yeah.

I've only had 8' beds until I got my current truck, but they were also regular cabs, so not huge. My truck is still extended cab, not crew cab but only has a 6' bed. It works, but I couldn't do anything shorter.

God dammit :banghead:

I got my bonus letter yesterday at 4pm and had to decide by today on what to do with it; cash it or redirect to my rrsp. I decided to send half to the rrsp and of course when I open the form it says at the top "DUE AT 12PM". FFS.

Sent it anyways, hopefully they will take it.

this week my manager and director finally came to the realization that i'm one of 3 people left (and the only one in their group) that is not only trained but actually knows how to release a BOM in our one PLM system. this is for the business sector which handles more unique parts (SKUs) than the rest of the company combined. i have become essentially unfireable.

Well, Wifey just pulled the trigger on three nights at the Venetian for Dead &Co. At the Sphere. Which I find hilarious as she isn’t a Dead Head, really. But her accounting peers are, so she went all in, as they are going. Ridiculously expensive, I guess that’s our 20th anniversary trip now.
I wanted to go to Spain…

If serious, how so, just too busy everywhere? Or just a long drive from Canuckistan to sit in AZ rain? :D

Wife and I really missed having a camper while we tried to get a van last year after selling our truck camper. Might be getting closer to picking up a van though.
Ridiculous, both the drive and trying to actually camp not an hour from nearest trailheads. Used to be so easy back in the days. Our BLM spot is gorgeous though.

@Jozz is it your vehicle or the traveling your burned out on?

I am quasi hunting for a turbo diesel pickup with 6.5ft bed so I can build me a poor mans camping/bike rig. When my kids go to boarding school I'll get a handful of Rky Mtn road trips a year.
Forgot to mention the van. Couple of fillups with corn juice and it's back to running poorly. And getting some transmission limp because of rear wheel sensors fluke hiccups when it's raining. Faulty harness somewhere.
