Up. Slept until 6h30. Been a while.

Looking at the long term weather seems to indicate that I'll be able to ride the skinny bike in December. #wootwoot

Hi all. Steak was a success: pulled at 110F then reverse seared with a bit of butter in the pan. Between its 1.1 lb goodness and having a double shot of espresso at dinner I actually slept soundly, but then my colon informed me 15 min ago that it desired to fully evacuate itself. So it did and now I am awake.

anyway, new bike day today

Up early to go fetch supplies. 16 lb brisket acquired, I shall be cooking that in place of lame ass turkey come Thanksgiving.

Otherwise, today shall consist of working on stuff around the house while simultaneously entertaining the child.

I am feeling yesterdays gym session so I am moving slowly (so far). I am enjoying a double espresso with my just fed doggies. I may go for a ride when it warms up (34 now) if its not raining. If it is wet then more gym time.

Ruth is at her sister's and they are going to the Dickens fair in SF. I am so enjoying the peace and quiet of solitude and the lack of honey do's.

We didn't do anything for Thanksgiving the year my wife was pregnant with our son, no family visits, nada. I cooked a carne asada and all the accoutrements and it kicked ass, and we watched a bunch of netflix

I assume "watching a bunch of Netflix" is what got you into the predicament you were in that year.

You seem to go to the beach a lot.

It snowed for 15 minutes this morning, THE END OF THE WORLD IS NEAR!!

Might go check out a flea market, not much on tap today. Maybe put the poly tubes in the fat bike.

Maybe not. But definitely keeping the dream alive by wearing shorts.
