Rode GRVL today, was good. Only brought winter riding clothes with me to my mom's place, now it is a total normal for late November 16 °C (61 °F). Climate change is luckily not real (everybody from the 1st and 2nd world at COP 29, probably).

I'm sort of trying to back way off, eight days without at this point. Ain't quitting, just trying to defeat the habitual aspect.

Maybe I'm just getting old, but I find more and more these days that I just don't enjoy being in an "altered state", especially alcohol. As much as it's been nice to be able to hit ye olde shed again, I haven't been going out there nearly as much as I would have thought just a couple months ago, but it has cut the alcohol consumption WAY back. There has been just something lately that's definitely driving me more towards, maybe not temperance, but a more sober milieu.

Seems reasonable. The Envy has a wider bar clamp so should be stiffer. 2mm shorter. The Ritchey was not bad.

Working on bikes, holy F dont take apart a grip shifter unless you want to play w/springs flying across the room.

We are the only ones here tonight and I'm guessing tomorrow will be the same. It's so nice and quiet. There is a half acre lot that is on the cove side we are going to look at tomorrow. It's supposed to be buildable and there is an elaborate tree stand already on the property. If it looks like some place we could park Frita until I drop a few containers on there, it might work.
