I’m up. Man my ability to sleep has really sucked this week so I’m making some coffee. May ride, may not.

Anyway, how about saying something nice to someone today.

It's Wuthering Heights day!

Slept 8hrs, felt a bit better but still battled on the bike, 17km with some walking.
Bike is now finished, happy with everything on it but it did remind me why I don't buy complete bikes, only the frame and lower headset are original.

Oh, I do need to drop the fork travel a bit and hit the bike shop up for some reflectors again.

Thinking about a ride in the canyon, but I suspect it might be awful soggy. Single Speed definitely needs an overhaul, have some parts on hand so I could start that. Lots of home projects. This only two day weekend shit is for the birds.

Stayed up too late playing gran turismo online last night... clawed my way from a D rating back of the pack jerry to podiuming again against C class drivers just by being consistent and patient then called it a night. All hail mediocrity!
Drove to work this morning for the first time in years. Quite accurately tho. ;)

Coffee, ride.

Need to stop at the store to grab some rim tape, for my upcoming Continental tire purchase. My rear tires side knows are clapped out and holding on by a literal thread.

Itll be interesting as besides some Nokian Gazoloddis in the early days, I have never run anything other than Maxxis tires.

Oh sweet Mary, you finally have matching tires! :busted:

I don't know what you're talking about, a bike is never truly finished. There will be something to tinker with next week, don't worry. :D

That tire is pretty damn slow as a rear, wish they'd do it in a 60duro, all their other patterns seem shit.
Not that I know much about tires.

Aside from a proper dual air air spring and getting the AXS dropper rebushed/serviced, it's done.
New dual suspension frame when I get a new job......

Dancin' over rocks n' roots!
Over 4" of rain here yesterday = soggy ground! We spent the time watching some of the Olympics and getting things packed for the big college move-in next week. Today is looking nice so some time outside will be happening.

Good!!!! Earl was going to take a day and come ride with you but the rain looked bad so I didn't reach out. It's super fun there. I think we are heading there Thursday.
I would have reached out too, but given how unsettled the weather was my ride ended up being a last minute thing. We'll have to connect another time!
