13" at Copper. This place is a desert; I think there was an accident on 70. Haley is looking forward to her first epic snow day. Y'all have fun at home.

Where are you seeing that? Does not show on COtrip. Would be amazing if they closed the pass for the day.
Was on the news this morning, said Monarch Pass closed until 1030 for avvy work.

negative 5 freedums outside, cold hands shoveling outside the house. Warmed up in the hour plowing the 'hood.

Hello, friends. I ran a half marathon this morning in 1:27:50, which is slower than I was hoping for but I just didn't have my A-game. Still a personal best and fast enough to get me an automatic entry to the NYC Marathon next year (2020), which is usually a lottery with 10% odds of getting in, unless you run fast enough like I just did, in which case you have a 100% chance of getting in. I finished 6th place in the race. Alrighty then. Yay exercise.

Being as it refers to feet-on-sticks, it isn't.
It's sort of relevant in that he went pass the tunnel and Loveland Pass alike on the way out to stick-sliding at Copper.

Dug into it a bit and the tunnel was closed but open as of 2:15 PM Mountain:

https://www.9news.com/article/traffic/i-70-at-the-eisenhower-tunnel-back-open-after-three-hour-closure/73-e62b4c08-f142-459f-9f4e-506938183acf

Going over Loveland Pass when the CMVs are chained up would be a super slow exercise, but then again waiting for the tunnel would be unproductive as well.

Sweet jeebus:

I'm showing 2h 1m from my place to Copper at the moment, which is with some mild traffic. 3h 8m on the way back in comparison.

I’m almost 100% convinced I rode the lift with @TN today. Super deep. I skied until I was a danger to myself and others... my tires are legged.
