Well we have agree to the bid on the house. Not it will be interesting to see if turns into a contract. Not the price I had hope for but under the circumstances (divorce) I need to happy with the outcome. I have still managed to more than double the equity we had when the apartment in Brooklyn was sold in 2017 and its all tax free in Denmark.

Good luck Claus. Whatcha gonna do if it all works out?
I kind of have my eyes on this neighbourhood with nice old townhouses. Little down sizing but still a nice basement for my bikes. I need to be able to get what is for sale down in price but if I have a lot of cash I might be able to do what the people buying our house done to our asking price. Or just rent something and put the money in the bank! Something for sure where that is less work to maintain so more time to have fun. This what I am looking at

Also closer to the center of the city so a little more alive, closer to the office and right next to a really good train hub.

Peace of mind and getting on with your life is worth a lot of money.

My hands are all scraped up from cleaning out the rain gutters yesterday, should have worn gloves. Forecast is clear and cold today then rain through Monday. Currently 34F . On the bright side I am only working a 4 hour shift today. Espresso is good this morning

Currently at that stage of a cold where every cough is a loogie and my voice sounds like gravel. Trending in the right direction!

Gotta get a last piece of this chair rail done, hang a mirror, and do some touch ups. Maybe today, we shall see.

Morning Monkeys.

There is a black cat that has figured out the cat door in my bedroom. I got a motion activated camera so I will get a notification. Monday came in last night at 1:45 and almost knocked it off the sill. She's a shit. Hopefully it will work, but I might have scared it enough last time that it might not again. Guess we will see.

are you from the future or the past? Pretty sure Arkansas is in 1978
meant to say November, as it current. I would agree that, as a whole, Arkansas deserves its reputation. However, a small slice in the NW defies those odds and is a pretty rad town. My guess is the dentist population here exceeds the complete state.

It's a very nice city. Not super big. Amazing bike infrastructure. Tons of good looking women if you are into that. Good food scene. You can take the train to the trails but its pretty flat around here. Biggest minus is the weather which is wet and dark this time of the year. Great airport and super cheap to fly in Europe. 6 weeks paid vacation. If you make around 9-10,000 per month you will only pay flat tax of 32% the first 7 years. I would say if you do not make that don't move here anyway.

Teh Spousal Unit™ and I are considering something similar in our bedrooms. You know, since the entire house is torn completely apart right now we might as well do additional renovation things, right?

Right?
