Teh Spousal Unit™ and I are considering something similar in our bedrooms. You know, since the entire house is torn completely apart right now we might as well do additional renovation things, right?

Right?
I mean, yes, now is the ideal time. I fully support this.

Currently at that stage of a cold where every cough is a loogie and my voice sounds like gravel. Trending in the right direction!

Gotta get a last piece of this chair rail done, hang a mirror, and do some touch ups. Maybe today, we shall see.

You'll be "finished" soon. Then it will be time to move to a better school district/ closer to inlaws/etc and you'll get to start all over again!

Barring something unforeseen, we'll be here at least another 15 years til the child is off to college. After that, who knows. I mean, who knows anyway, but at least that's the plan.

If anyone is moving, it's gonna be the in-laws. No f'in way am I moving that close to Boston. Did that for 3 years and I have no desire to do it again.

Follow up with the ortho today. The remnants of my shoulder is tight as a nun's uh, shoelaces, so no surgery required, just a few months of PT and moar painz.

I probably gouged that out when I "re-located" it. Hack job for sure, but I was the most qualified individual available at the time.

hi ppls

working an experimental 11a-6p wfh shift today. we are trying different things out as we get more people. anyway, walked 45 min reading a book, spun for 60 min during a Zoom section meeting, then chilled and sunned myself in the hot tub before logging on to work, so my day is ok already.

Lazy neighbor has landscaping crew removing leaves from their house today. 30 MPH winds tonight will ensure that needs to be done again tomorrow.

There is no other way. Might as well re-plumb the house while your at it.

Workin in the fruit warehouses. Theyre calling for lots of moisture. Need. Rake. Leaves.

If you're getting them wrong on ITIL Foundation, we're going to demote you.
Good!

The vague convoluted questions make my brain hurt. I just want questions where there is a clear answer; for example 2 + 2 = 4. There is no other possible answer than 4, 4 isn't more correct than 3 or 5, 4 is the only possible outcome!

I got this one wrong because I thought there was no way the answer could be that obvious, it's obviously a trap. Nope... I'm just dumb

It's a very nice city. Not super big.
1/4 of Denmark lives there.

Amazing bike infrastructure.
Lots of slow cyclists on cargo bikes and tricycles though.

Tons of good looking women if you are into that.
If you like tattoos and STDs.... ;)

Good food scene.
Be prepared to spend a good chunk of money though. Good asian and mexican is a challenge.

You can take the train to the trails but its pretty flat around here.
Public transport is amazing! Pretty flat bike trails, but made for bikes only. Think Bentonville w/o Walmart money backing.

Biggest minus is the weather which is wet and dark this time of the year.
Not too dissimilar to the PNW.

Great airport and super cheap to fly in Europe.
Luckily we are all really into saving the climate and would not use that....right Claus...right???? ;)

6 weeks paid vacation.
Be prepared to take 4 of those in July because everyone is doing this.

If you make around 9-10,000 per month you will only pay flat tax of 32% the first 7 years. I would say if you do not make that don't move here anyway.
In the biotech industry salaries range from $43,000 to $75,000 per year if you have a MSc, higher for a PhD.
Novo Nordisk, Novozymes and others are recruiting like crazy ATM. Their work language is English, so no need to know Danish.
