Northern Rockies weather report:
Snowy morning is good for aquifer / Bad for all the plants in town that were budding out.

One of these things is not like the other.

Meanwhile on the other side of the hwy [aka the shitbox...]

I hope it's just Idaho being Idaho when it comes to "teh math" because we've had one of the wetter springs I can recall...

In the bathroom, fighting a battle
Machinist hands me part for first article inspection, proceed to look at the two opposing bores and notice they're non-concentric, check a couple dimensions and none were close, why TF do they even think I should be looking at this thing?

FTS, I'm taking 2 lunches today.

Riding the baggage carousel.
Rain all day thus far. Has attempted to turn to snow a couple times, but nothing is sticking.

Edit: NOAA winter weather warning says "take steps to protect tinder vegetation as well as exposed irrigation"

rode my bike to work.

rode my bike home from work.

I'm tired, and disappointed that my average speed is down 4.5mph compared to my road bike, but c'est la vie

Don’t worry about being slower commuting. It’s not the speed but the effort that counts.
Mostly just that my commuter bike is a dog, but that shouldn’t be a surprise. One is a flat bar nashbar fitness bike made up of old mtb parts I found in the shed, and the other is a full carbon roadie with all the fixings.

In hell. Welcome!
Rode with wife a little, then beers - found some Six Seam in the packie, now mentally preparing for the insane heat in the next two days.

In the cleavage of the Tetons
It’s Friday night, time to feel sorry for myself!
I am having possibly the worst early riding season in years.
oh, well.
My family still loves me, and no one gives a shit about my Strava anyhoo.
So that’s refreshing!

Just scheduled our CA trip in June. Rentals are so expensive that getting a car on Turo will probably only be $100-200 more for a luxury SUV. So... Wifey might be getting a Range Rover or Q7 for the week.
