Purdy!Mornin!
Went to hike Mount Monadnock yesterday, but called it quits short of the summit. Rocks were like ice, and given that the top is decently exposed, long, polished granite, we said nope.
But still, the trees are changing and it was a good day to be in the woods, so thats all I need.

Have you considered trying it nao?C: drive failed on my desktop.
Uh oh, how old is that disk? SSD or HDD? Good luck!C: drive failed on my desktop.
SSD. I have a recovery drive, have never gone through a replace/restore exercise, will probably pay someone to replace the drive and get it fired up.Uh oh, how old is that disk? SSD or HDD? Good luck!
You going to try anything else out, or are you sold on the yeti 115?I am hoping Bike Shop Owner gets back to me today with some info about a bike purchase.
You're more than capable of doing that, its super simple. Save the cash for trail tools and/or beer.will probably pay someone to replace the drive and get it fired up.
Edit: It's the getting it fired up after putting in a good disk piece that I haven't done and don't want to fuck up.
we too have had at least 2 weeks without rain (which ended saturday). yet we're still at our average because we got 6.5" rain from a hurricane, and another 4" in a prior storm.I woke up at midnight to the sound of rainfall, and it was sweet, sweet music to my ears. We are in a severe drought and that was our first rain in 16 days. We're a foot below our usual annual rainfall at this point. We need more of it, and this week looks like it may deliver.
Yeah - but that's SOP for you blokes.Rain? what's that? last rain here was I think in April. We are in "everything is fucking on fire season" which usually runs until November when we switch to only some shit is on fire season.
I am sold on the Yeti. I have tried enough bikes over the past two years. I rode Pivot and Santa Cruz demos last year, and the year before that I tried a bunch of bikes at NEMBAfest. My second choice would be the Pivot 429SL.You going to try anything else out, or are you sold on the yeti 115?
You could have chosen worse....at least it is not an ebike.I am sold on the Yeti.
new gimp mask?Awwww F yeah. Been searching for the right piece of leather for a year now, and finally found it. A nice 18" x 30" piece of veg tan, 14/16 oz. All mine now.
dude, Babs is a world class athlete, he needs no 'e'.You could have chosen worse....at least it is not an ebike.
i for one am stoked that IAB is jumping into modern times, but more importantly is spending more time in the woods on a bike.dude, Babs is a world class athlete, he needs no 'e'.
But he is now on a 29er.i for one am stoked that IAB is jumping into modern times, but more importantly is spending more time in the woods on a bike.
let's be honest, options for adult sized bicycles without 29" wheels are getting fewer and fewer. But he is now on a 29er.
I dunno, dude. I've seen your vacation... it's pretty fvcking good.Yes @Full Trucker's life is better than my vacation, and what could be better than beer after a bike ride, why free beer!
He is going to be truly insufferable after the nuptials -- new van, new wife, new jerb, new life...
Leather desk pad actually, given all this WFH my kitchen table is now my desk, and I thought I'd dress it up a little. Like this:new gimp mask?

Also, my old gimp mask works just fine thank you very much. A little crusty, but like you told me, they wear in not out.
