Nice Wingdings, I think?

Very little going on today aside from a phone screen which is of course at exactly the same time as my son’s fun run thing at work. Not sure if I should try and reschedule or not.

Fairly easy day but the boss was extra whiney which was annoying.

Then I went for a bike ride to test out the new light, need an Allen wrench to fit the mount.
The thing is aimed at roadies, as if a roadie would be able to deal with the extra weight and aero drag of an unused clamp in the day time.
I'm gonna have to find a thumbscrew or just buy a GoPro handlebar mount from a sensible manufacturer.

These wingdings are wild.

I swam 2700 yards this morning. Sitting at the walk-in medical clinic with Wife now because she wrecked her back and can barely walk. Sucks for her, but on the bright side, it got me out of two work meetings, soooooo....yay??

Here. Leaving for Idaho to see my grandpa tonight. He's deep into dementia at this point, so hopefully he remembers me because this will likely be the last time I see him. Talked with Wifey some about MIL1 and getting her into a facility like Windcrest, which is in town. Running the numbers it actually looks like a facility like that will be financially far more beneficial for her. And socially? Well, if you aren't actively partaking in things socially and have gone sedentary, your longevity is much shorter.

Fun lap on the North Shore yesterday on the way to Squamish, followed by an excellent falafel wrap from a tiny little shop where the owner makes all the sauces himself. Too rainy in Squamish for a ride yesterday so we got some admin done like laundry and a grocery store run. Sunny skies today, we’ll probably get a ride or two done.

Been thinking of ways to cripple myself with debt. Thought about a boat but a cabin in the woods seems like a less irresponsible irresponsible financial decision.

So I blew off last nights ride cause I was a bit tired and the head was giving me a bit of grief after cutting the lawns. Figured I had nothing going on today, so we would throw the bike on the car and go for the first non local ravine ride of the year.

Get up and the rain is bouncing 6" on the driveway and forcasted to continue until dinner time.

:banghead:

Maybe beers and a garage clean?

meh

I pulled over $400 in 4 hours today. I would say I'm averaging about $4 a poppy. Those bitches were $375 for 1000, so not a bad return. We actually haven't opened the box I bought this year and are still working through what was left from last year. We might clear $4k from 4 days at 3 locations. Not bad considering it's basically our only income stream outside of direct donations.
