Afternoon thunderstorms were thundery here as well. That time of year. Chaos in the hangar, good day to be the gate monkey I guess. #1 priority today is to get coffee after work.

Mornin!

Sleep schedule is still messed up from the cross country drive. Turned the last day into an 860 mile leg, which is the furthest I have driven in any one travel day.

Today it's off to the in-laws so I can unload the truck. Yay.

Morning Monkeys.

My big sis was in town for some tattoo work, so I took her to the gorge for some beverages and views. It was a nice visit, but I had other things I would like to have done.

As a reward, the wife booked 2 nights on the coast in Frita. Should be a good time. Just need to make it to Friday.

Meetings all day. Haley was a shithead this morning and Hannah wasn't much better. Wifey decided she wanted to do a cleanse, which never puts anybody into a good mood. FTS is starting high.

I might just go for it and get the Nukeproof Mega 29 Factory. The spec is awesome, geometry is well in my range, and the only complaints I have seen are slight stiffening under braking. I want to see if I can find some Transition vs. Yeti vs. Nukeproof reviews, but I might be hoping for unicorns.

I'm back and forth on getting an up spec 24" that's too tall for Haley right now and pillaging it for parts, only to swap it back once she's tall enough. The price to do that is marginally more than the part replacement option and it leaves me with a set of disc wheels for when she takes over Wifey's Yeti.

how does she feel about ///Carbs?
Given what's in her cleanse, very positive. Also, not something she was happy that I pointed out. I told her that she doesn't need to go as agro as me, even 50 carbs/day keto is reasonable and will be comfortably doable with me and having wine. It's just better than swinging 250-50-250-400-50 on a daily.

hi folks

i should buy a new smoker. I missed pulled pork and shit. My old smoker was terrible and made the experience unpleasant.
My Dad bought me a Traeger. I've had some issues getting settings right, because I'm not a bbq specialist, but their customer support is incredible. Works pretty damn well though.
