I have a cold going on week 3 but will try to head out for a ride anyway as it super mild and sunny. Our crazy warm summer has carried over into fall.
Got a call from Volvo that I will have my new car by the 15th at the latest. I can't wait to dump the Audi I am driving and get an auto again. Driving stick for your daily commute sucks especially with a super short first gear.

Out with the wife last night, that was nice. I too, have turned on the furnace for teh realz this morning, was a balmy 56 in the house @5:30. Supposedly about as warm as it's going to get today. I can feel it in my pelvis and hip.
i would welcome a touch of cool colorado air. it’s still not getting below the mid-60s at night. we need a frost or two to kill off the insane mosquitos that emerged after teh hurricane.

I got in a good 6 hours of sleep ( my usual amount) in the hammock last night. I was using a 40* bag and actually had to zip it up when the temps hit 48 last night.

Very bad in Pa Woods (St Marys) also. They were attacking me on the Gator. Pretty fierce little critters. Ticks are bad too...
