Afternoon Monkeys.

Heading to the pumpkin patch with the grandkids, then a party for the wife of a VFW buddy. She and my wife had kinda connected at the Valentine's gig we went to, so that's nice. It's also at the Elks, which I officially join on Wednesday, so there is that.

Be safe out there, the pumpkin patch will be a shit show for sure. At least it's not the little people patch.

Brute force got me to 100 BPM. A nice increase from 77 but a far cry from 176. The sixteenth note finger picking above 100 is going to require some technique tweaks.

Lots to do around the house today and the going to watch the Gator Nationals (BMX) race tomorrow. My bike still just sits it appears.

@jstuhlman let me know how it goes today. I mean, who knows when I’ll ride again but was curious about that place.
rode ure 15 years ago. meh. got convinced to go ride it again. still meh. i guess if you're on that side of town it's ok, but for me i can drive 15-20 more minutes and be at wilsons, which is 1000x better.

I found the honey hole of Quail. A little grove of pines on the side of a grassy hill. Since the County built a dog park nearby. All the Coyotes are gone. Just a casual observation. Turkeys in the Knoll are healthy too. I love the fall.

Wait did you kill them thangs?

Did you identify the birb? Looks like a least flycatcher to me, but I am prepared to be wrong: https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Least_Flycatcher/overview
Oh no, I was out hunting deer. Just happened to stumble across the rest.

80% sure it was a yellow rumped warbler. I'm shit about birds too, though.
