As the topic states, would a 2001 z3 crown work on the 2000 z1 drop off?

i've replaced the crown on a 00' z1 with the crown of a '98 z3, and never had any problems for over 2 years.......

not that a pic means anything, but here it is anyway. it sees regular park and dj duty....

I don't think it will work. In 03 zokes moved to 32mm stanchions for their FR series forks. 02 and below were all 30mm.

we are talking about a 2000 and a 2001 here....

not the 03's with the press-fit crowns

i have an 02 exr/z.5 with a '00 z.3 crown, i just had to cut the press fit 'o2 crown off, its tits

it think the shorter travel z3s had a different crown offset which would quicken your steering a bit, but this might be from earlier models.

uhh... it's cryofit?
i think it's the older bolt on crowns do not fit on the m-arch forks, but it may work vise-versa.
Still, i'd just get a new crown instead of switching to cryo-**** (especially the worst year for it)
