hey all, currently i have a 02 super 8 w/an avalanche rear end and i need a fork for the front end. I was debating on the 03 super t or the 04 manitou slider and i can get them both for $600 brand new. I wasn't really quite sure how the manitou works as far as the performance b/c i don't know much people w/ those forks. All of the people i ride w/, ride mostly marzocchi's and they're pretty much reliable. I had a shiver but sold it b/c needed some $$ but now i need to replace it. So help me out brothas........ Which fork? I'll mainly use it for Dh and freeriding.

No question, get the SuperT.
BTW, is it a used fork? Kinda pricey if it is. Kinda pricey even if it's new. The '05s should be out soon.

Only real downside to the Super T is the stupidhead cryofit crown.
It depends who works on your forks... if you do, it could be a hassle, but if a shop does, well, it's their problem

Peete, I don't think that Marzocchi is making the Super T for '05

personally i own a super T it's at very good fork, here are some pros and cons...

pro:
dual HSCV
very plush, never bottom mine
very good to ride DH
problem free

cons:
crown is not adjustable
won't fix big tyres. eg 3.0, 2.75 maxxis, no prob.
can't think of any more

there also been lots of discussions abt the SuperT b4, try the search function

i will refer you to the post called big problem. my question was answerd with about 18 post telling me to **** the slider and get the super t. so just orderd it today and cant wait. so i say go for the super t. theres also a narly pic of a slider on that post so check it out. and marzoochi has awsome cs from what i hear. so good luck man peace.

ohh and the super t is comming out in 05 its just not much different than the 04 or atleast that is what i heard so.
