Someone ordered the mono-VPP dh bike on mtbr and he just got it a few days ago or something, came with a DHX.

I'm really liking my DHX. Complete-ish review soon.

You can get it with a 5th Element, Swinger or DHX...but I think you have to pay an extra $50 for the DHX, not 100% sure on that.

As functional as the headtube area may be, that Jackal has taken one serious beat down at the hands of the ugly stick. Reminds me of those hideous hardtail frames that KHS make.

I can't give an honest answer because I have not ridden the new DHX yet. The 5th and Swinger are the same, but I would really like to hear from someone who has ridden the DHX on a VPP bike and see what they think.

The 5th Element and the Swinger have the same technology, but the 5th Element has way better build quality. Swingers blow up like crazy.

ive had a dhx on my mono for the past while and love it so far, on past bikes ive had swingers and 5thys and prefer the dhx hands down to them
