Bruiser 3 = As IFO on NSMB would say, "no sale!"

Kingfishers = Nice. Sweet combo of grey/cambo on the 1. Only thing, why tripple rings instead of a guide? No biggy, just saying.

the Bruiser design is a total mystery with such a high pivot and no chain-thingy...i mean from the guys who patented the chain-thingy....

I was curious about the lack of chain-thingy as well..

Yeah I actually laughed out loud when I saw the "Bruiser 3" a couple weeks ago. To see what the Diesel frame that first listed for $2800 has become was amusing.

That bruiser is rediculous. I think my super 8 would pedal better. The fact that they spec it with a granny gear is just laughable. I thought suspension design was supposed to be progressing. This just proves that the marketing dept needs to change stuff every couple years.

In Trek's defense...

That Bruiser 3 is damn ugle and probably really bad all around but look at the price and who it's aimed for. I doubt people that buy the Bruiser 3 or consider it have ever had experience riding a 223, or M1 or anything flashy like that. As far as being the old Deisel design and watering it down excessively, I guess it was something they could just use without spending a lot of money.
