Wow you know its a boring day at work when I post in the lounge...

My resolution is to lose all the weight I gained in 05', gain some muscle tone and travel more.

Your turn....if you dare.

I am going to quit my good job
Leave South Florida from where I have lived since I was 5
Put my entire life savings into 1 house
and move to a city where I know a total of about 5 people.

and start over

What do the rest of you have?

Welp, I was thinkin' about brushing the cat twice a week instead of once a week. I think that's pretty close to the same thing.

Dancin' over rocks n' roots!
(despite the nay-sayers) Race atleast one solo effort (either 12 hour or 24 hour). Build-up and ride a SS for XC purposes. Begin my family and try to balance family life, work and play time :D

I resolve to do a 24 solo and a road century. You heard it here first folks.
Nice!!! If I had a road bike, I would vow to do a century as well. Maybe we can both pop our 24 solo cherry at the same race. I already have my pit crew lined up (Sq-Earl). :D Funny thing is...he's more excited to crew for my first solo than I think I am to ride it

To those who resolve a solo 24 or a century - do it!! Those are tough but attainable goals for everyone who rides fairly regularly.

I resolve to clean my chain at least once in 2006. :p

This time I am not saying to smoke more cigars.

-Gain more muscle and get into better shape in general
-Work on getting my cardio in better condition on the road bike (for racing)
-Start racing DH this next season and starting in the Sport class
-Hitting the 18ft drop up at UCSC

More to come…

Shut up and Ride
Mine:

1)race in the expert class, and not come in last
2)get back up on the podium at a 24 hour race (team catagory)
3)buy an investment/rental house
4)get laid more often

Seriously, do it. It was one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. I don't do a lot of racing or goal-setting but this was a really good thing on a very personal level. I can't really describe how it felt to see the sun come up.

Really? I'd figure at your level in XC you wouldn't want to risk injury. Have fun with it though!:p
