im in the middle of rebuilding my 2007 boxxer team. i am wondering about the oil. it says to put 150 cc of 5wt in the right top leg and 15 cc of 15 wt in the right bottom leg. how do u drain or fill the bottom leg? or is it all one chamber?any help would be greatly apreciated

The smaller volume of oil is used for bushing lube (lubes the lower part sliding on the upper stanchions). You drain that oil by removing the bolts on the bottom of the fork and pulling the lowers off. BTW, this is a much more important piece of regular maintanance than getting into the damper and changing that oil..the damper is sealed and thus the oil stays uncontaminated for a long while.

When you have the lowers off, grease (pack the space between the outer dust wiper and the inner oil seal) the main seals with some slick honey or prep-m, or the like.

Before you run in to any other issues, go to the sram web site and get the manuals for your fork, so you can see/read what you are doing.
