So I just got this fork off a guy. It's been working good but now I got a problem. First off the whole "PAR" air valve at the bottom of the leg and the "ATA" air valve at the top. Manual says to have the ATA psi at least 15psi lower then the PAR psi, if you get that. Anyway whatever psi I pump into the bottom when I go to fill up the ATA it's already at the amount I put into the PAR. I can't get it stiff whatever I do.

Also at the same time just today the travel seems to be getting lower by itself. Like I maxed the travel adjustment out so it should be around 6" but the fork looks like its only at 3" now.

Does anyone have one of these forks? How do you have it setup?

Your ATA chamber has failed. The '08's had this problem frequently and Marz has a newer '09 cartridge that adresses these issues. If your ATA chamber top & bottom pressures are the same, your PAR chamber O-rings are toast as they are allowing the pressures to equalize. Marz sells an O ring kit but I found it only has a few O rings which actually fit. The loss of travel is another issue called ATA winddown.

Here are a couple of links which may help you out.
