Here is my first 29er. It is an 18inch Stump 29er HT frame. This is my fourth stumpy and my second hardtail stumpy. Flat out flyer in the open stuff, still getting used to riding a SS but I really enjoy the simplicity of it and charging ahead is a blast.

Spec:
Specialized 2008 Stump HT frame size 18
Stans 355 29er rims/dt spokes/dt240 hubs/kenda karmas
Fox F29RLC fork
Shimano XT disc brakes/rotors
Shimano XT cranks/salsa 32 tooth ring/spot guard/surly19 cog/sram 8speed chain/XT pedals
Specialized carbon bar/enduro grip/rival saddle/crankbrothers cobalt sl headset

22.4 lbs on the shop scale.

Wow that's nice! Is that frame built for 29er or do regular frames work for that?

That's a stumpjumper 29er frame. The Big S is now in the game with a couple of hardtail frame platforms and a full suspension bike/frame as well.

Nice bike right up there - well put together by the original poster. Good job and let her rip!

It came out great. Much thanks to W.E. Stedman bike shop in Wakefield, RI for the wrenching.
