is there a way to convert rear q/r to 10mm bolt on without changing hubs? it seems like you should just be able to buy an axel, and shove it in there...volia!
however i doubt its that simple.
does anyone know if theres a way to do this?

I've put solid 10mm axles into two different, rear, QR hubs. It's easy, but the hubs must be traditional ball-bearing, not sealed-cartridge.

where can you get 10mm axels? LBS?

Sure. Just bring your hub in to confirm its cones etc. thread on the new axle.

If you do have to replace the hub do it with a Hadley. You can get conversion kit's for them from QR, 10mm, 12mm or 20mm. They're pretty much trouble free and easy to maintain. The last hub you may purchase for a while.
