    I had some like that when I was doing 5.1 audio testing. Only mine were $50 (Turtle Beach EAR Force X-52). They sounded great.

    You'd be surprised at how many musicians have those, or something similar. The unit costs 1200, plus you have to have molds created of your ears so that the fit is correct.

    There is a company here in town that makes custom ear mold buds for better noise reduction when rocking the iPod. I think they are like $250.
