i just logged into my RM account for the first time since 2009 (that's 8 years)...been doing American dream things like wife, child, house, family, career, etc...

well here i am,...2015, almost 40,...overweight, zero exercise, tired, needing some outdoors, etc... I think it's time to start my mid-life crisis,...i'm heading out the garage to dust off my old Planet X road/cross bike,...the only bike i kept, and i just bought a new helmet. It's time to get out a little bit.

Here's my question...i had not planned to buy a bike till i was more committed to my mid-life crisis plan, but i just heard about an SC Bullit for sale for what i think is reasonably cheap.

The bike is a 99', looks solid...used but not worn out, Jr T fork (maybe 2004 ish), decent parts list, blah blah blah...so my question...would you trust a 99' Bullit as an all-mountian/trail bike (not DH or jumping...too old for that shit)

should i pick up the Bullit,...or pass because the bike's age/wear?
