swing arms will look close to the same.esr said:Will the frame look the same or is there going to be changes there, very interested in this bike.
make it compatible to my frames design, so i can ditch the heavy-ass cromo front end....bcd said:well, the front end will have 4'' or adjustment from the midframe.
i would like to have an option in my front center for different tracks.
i am still thinking of a good way to attatch the two. strong ,no slop,
and light.
The simpler the better.
so what 12x135 better?Dog Welder said:HEY BCD...why did you decide to go with such an odd rear hub spacing? Who makes a 14mm x 135 anyways?
how about 15x135 (hadley), with an aluminum axle.bcd said:so what 12x135 better?
Ive got a feeling that size might start getting more popular.Dog Welder said:HEY BCD...why did you decide to go with such an odd rear hub spacing? Who makes a 14mm x 135 anyways?
Kyle's bike had a ton of slop, I take it yours is not the same? That was the only BCD that I've ran across and I must say I was very unimpressed. Suspension design and everything was great, but it was completely ruined with tons of slop from ovalized/loose pivots (not shock bushings, way too much slop for it to just be that).neversummersnow said:One more thing that suprised me about the bike....
How incredibly BURLY it feels when you're riding it. It feels absolutly solid in everyway. I didn't expect this for some reason. Between Alex's construction/engineering and the fact its carbon it makes for a bike that doesn't seem scared of anything...the cool part is the CARBON DAMPENS ALL HIGH FREQUENCY vibrations...its nuts!
I picked it up and rode on it a bit. It had a lot of slop when I did.neversummersnow said:Well that WAS my bike. I never had any slop or anything...
I'm not trying to tell you your business. I'm no engineer..I'm just wondering cuz its a hub size that I've never seen before.bcd said:so what 12x135 better?
yes. 15x135 is what i ment.zedro said:how about 15x135 (hadley), with an aluminum axle.
Btw, are you using a 135 with an 85mm BB with an offset (zero-dish) for space for a floater?
that is why i am enlarging the alum housing the main pivot to the frame.Jm_ said:Kyle's bike had a ton of slop, I take it yours is not the same? WheelieMan - Hey BCD, how high is the pivot above the bb on the inedible?
Nately27 said:hey BCD, could you post some pics of your shop, ie, how you make those bikes. I'd be interested to what the molds look like, and how you lay up and cure the carbon.
