hey monkey mechanics,
I'm building up a bullit for freeriding and I have a set of M4's at 205/185mm mounted up. I'm sure you know where this is going... rotor size in the rear is to big. I've heard all over that 8" won't work, but 185mm is rubbing by like 1-2mm max. It's so tempting to dremel off a little of the material, or a small dent would take care of it. I don't think it's rubbing in a high stress area of the tube, but I really hate to do any mods like that unless I hear it's worked in the past. Any advice on this? I'm looking into a 165mm rotor, but this will involve a new rotor and new adapter, which gets up to about 70 bucks or so. If anyone has run a 185 on the back of a bullit, please let me know. thanks!

either use the 6" rotor or find yourself an updated rear end that will accommodate 8" rotors.

*denting or putting a dremel to the tubes is just asking for trouble.
